In an ideal world,
Beauty is only skin deep
Love is blind
Beauty loves the beast unconditionally
.. and the last page always says ” happily ever after ”

In reality,
Beauty is the skin
Love chooses to see everything
The beast is lonely
.. and the last page always says “suck it in and deal with it”

the sooner we accomodate reality, the better ??

    i don’t know if accomodating reality will make us better off, it might. you did hit the nail on the head with your words, and attatched them to a wonderful illustration. you took a common idea and pushed the envelope by using the “cut along the dotted lines” motif. i thak you for showing us that twist on the usual.
