Designer’s Esoteric (part one of many)

Ok .. so keeping with the trend of the curvy-floral-leafy design patterns (that has by now earned a place in every esoteric design encyclopedia), i came across Mike Milosh’s weather controlled music video

“The Unseen Video is much more than a normal, static music video. It is a video that is affected by the weather and local time from the position of the viewer.

We want to create new synergies between the music, the video and the surroundings of the viewer. Every little change in your environment ensures that you will never see the same video twice. The look of the video might slightly change within an hour, but will have a whole new character in a few months.”

I personally think that its a very smart piece and deserves every bit to be seen and appreciated by as many possible. From where i’m standing, i see a few exciting opportunities to establish synergisms between weather and interactive design. Imagine a blog design that responds to the wind direction and speed in your city !! odd ?? gimmicky ?? – perhaps… but hey one thing leads to another.

Thanks for sharing that dp … ;) – keep them pages turnin and those links comin!
