Fact is…

Was at Tia's this afternoon and we were surfing wikimapia ( which btw has become a favorite past time of mine lately :P ) and i couldnt help but sit back and go 'DAMN! we are such a speck in the bigger scale of things and all that we are concerned about is ourselves and our own problems - "Its all a conspiracy!", "Why me ?", "Make the pain stop!", "God are you listening?" is what we keep saying once more.

Fact is that there might be no god.
Fact is that there is no conspiracy and nobody is in charge.
Fact is that you and i are a headless blunder operating under the illusion of a master plan called LIFE. There is no GOD! but there are those who pretend to be god by defying the laws of existence that put them here in the first place.
Fact is that, the worlds oldest profession is not prostitution, its ‘playing god’

We are all a part of the system … I draw a box, you walk a beat, then you draw a box and i walk a beat, so on - so forth. It's boring and unexciting but the only way we are going to get through this is to keep it simple – keep our heads low and see whats in front of us. Trust me, forget the big picture – life is too complicated.

It’s all a mistake – a pathetic mistake. We are a pointless existence of organisms that have been forgotten in a maze and we struggle to sustain ourselves and find a way out. There is no way out and nobody is watching. God is an unplugged surveillance camera that’s stares at you blank whilst you and I spend countless hours worshipping it as the face of hope and supremeness. Cartesian co-ordinates!!! thats what we are - a bunch of points in three dimensional space. Calculated once and then forgotten.

Fuck the morals… Fuck the respect…Disrespect the system if that’s what makes you happy. Take what you can, entertain yourself while you are stuck here. Nobody is watching and nobody gives a rats ass.

These prayers of ours are like unposted entries in a blog that you write but never publish. All you get is a strange sense of comfort in pretending that he/she who matters will read it soon one day.

  1. So, you became atheist? I agree, there are some moments of life, we just think like this. But, we are supposed to be good boys… we cannot fuck morals and go against all. Fuck that thought!

Sometime I think, the humans are sufferers in one or the other way. But, there are good moments and glimpse of happiness. We bear everything to catch those moments. Fluctuations are natural; time heals everything….

And, write more Raj; been so many days now, you are not writing. I cannot concentrate on my own blog; you know why :-D

  2. And the award for the ‘best rant in the religious category’ goes to…

    LOL

Dude, I think I know what you are trying to say, and I agree with the “I draw a box” analogy….but I also say this: Life is simple. People complicate it!

Hit me back at Crumpled Nothings!

  3. na hari .. not an atheist yet. :)
i suppose i just felt like i had to say the things that all of us think about from time to time but never really voice.

i have to admit though that when i started writing the post it was supposed to be a happy and frivolous one about ‘the wonders of the world’ (angels singing in the background) … i just turned satanic after the first paragraph :P

    hey sachin …. :P
fuck dude – i was kinda hoping that somebody would bestow me with an accolade for this long winding and pretentiously proofread post !!!! :D thankyou thankyou thankyou !! haha

Hitting you back at crumpled nothings.

  4. Ahhh – so this is where the rest of the ffff!!! go in ;)
And I thought that you were always the peaceful guy :) Well yes – life is way too complicated and even making it simple seems like a complicated job – the irony of it all!! :|

  5. awww, our li’l goru is all grown up.

yes baby, it’s about time you realized that no one is listening or watching over us. and if they ARE, and they STILL let all this shit happen, then either THEY are very sadistic or we deserve it!

i think someone may have created us, but there is no way in hell that that someone is needy enough to want me to thank him and worship him everyday for it. and i am sure he has moved on to creating bigger and better things and isn’t sitting on his ass, waiting to solve my stupid little problems.

praying is stupid (there, i said it). you need to take control of your own life, solve your own damn problems and if you want to, you can show your appreciation for this beautiful/fascinating universe by wasting less water, recycling, eating healthy, watching flowers, sunsets, waves, stars, appreciating and creating beauty, being kind to animals and your parents and all that.

if you’re an asshole who does none of the above but prays 5 times a day, i am betting ‘the creator’ doesn’t really think very highly of you.

great rant, by the way – i love the camera bit.

  6. More blogging please. :)

  7. Yes, I feel that god is nature!
    Nature, from cells to galaxies.
The fact that there are so many religions…well, which is the correct one?
So many religions….what do you expect when the spirit world is interpreted and used as political leverage by power hungry humans?

A South Park episode had the characters in heaven, and they asked god which religion was the correct religion. God told then the ‘Mormons’ had the correct religion. Ha, Ha.

I agree that there is no conspiracy.
    But there are many ‘conspiracies’.
They are all interwoven like a bowl of spaghetti.
Many of them compete, many operate in alliance, and many are mutually independent.
History proves they have always been.

  8. sigh … sarah … thats beautiful … :P now after that melodramatic yet highly sensible spiel !! please join me in a loud mouthful of paki style cursing and highly caustic round of desi profanity. :D – i love you too! ;)

MARKUS !! how are ya mate !???
i share your sentiments exactly and i remember having an earlier round of this conversation when we were driving into RMIT a few years ago. Hey lets face it – RELIGION IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE MOST POWERFUL POLITICAL TOOL EVER ! ( keeping in mind that dogmatic and spiritual aspects of religion are mutually exclusive )

Man made conspiracies exist all around us – i agree. interwoven into the very fabric of our lives that it becomes hard to differentiate and tell the difference between what is real and what is not…. like spaghetti .. you are right !!!

    Trying to eat less!
    What are you doing?
